It isn’t that you can’t do the job — it’s that you don’t have time. Two engineers running a whole yard or refit simply isn’t enough sometimes. MMI provides extra skilled hands you can point and fix, or hand a preset work list to and let them get on with it. A multi-disciplinary team from commercial, Royal Navy and yachting backgrounds, ready to fly in and fly out — with no cabin space needed on board.
3D printers are becoming highly prized on board — and MMI has installed multiple setups across vessels that are now in heavy daily use, with one vessel adding a second unit and a laser engraver. We spec, install and train your crew to run the system, so the boat can fix and create for itself.

No printer on board? We also custom-print prototype and replacement parts to your spec and ship them to you — ideal if you don't have the space or budget to invest in a system of your own.
We also maintain a growing library of yacht-specific print files — proven, ready-to-print parts designed for life on board.
Grey and black water management surveys, plus installation of grey, black and galley grease-trap monitoring systems — keeping waste-water systems compliant, monitored and reliable across guest and crew operations.
Fresh water treatment surveys, water management plans and system installations — ensuring safe, well-managed potable and technical water systems on board.

Our inspection and survey services are launching soon. Tap any service for full detail and register your interest.
Non-destructive ultrasonic testing of hatches, watertight doors, weather-deck closures and seals — verifying the watertight and weathertight integrity that surveys, class and insurers require, quickly and without flooding tests.
Thermographic inspection of electrical systems, switchboards, machinery and structures — finding loose connections, overloaded circuits, failing bearings and insulation faults before they cause failure, fire or downtime.
Independent condition assessments across machinery, systems and structure — pre-purchase, pre-survey, warranty or operational. Practical, prioritised findings from an engineer who understands what each issue means for the vessel.
Clear, professional reporting that stands up to scrutiny. Every inspection documented with findings, evidence and recommendations in a format you can act on or pass directly to class, flag state or insurers.
